Service Dey Terms of Service
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the ServiceDey mobile and web application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use ServiceDey.
Your use of ServiceDey is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which you should read carefully. The Privacy Policy provides details on how we collect, use, and protect your data.
1. User Eligibility
Users must be at least 18 years old to register for ServiceDey. By creating an account, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete. We reserve the right to terminate accounts with detected fraudulent activity or false information.
- Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate and complete information when using the App. ServiceDey is not responsible for issues arising from the submission of incorrect information.
- Prohibited Actions: Users are prohibited from using the App to:
- Engage in unlawful activities.
- Distribute harmful software or content.
- Impersonate others.
2. Account Registration and Responsibilities
Users and artisans must adhere to account-related responsibilities:
- User Account:
- Registration: Users create accounts to access features such as booking services with artisans.
- Security: Safeguard your account credentials, as all account activity is your responsibility.
- Artisan Account:
- Profile Creation: Artisans must create detailed profiles, including service descriptions and skills.
- Transparency: Artisans must provide truthful information about experience and qualifications. ServiceDey may suspend accounts found to misrepresent qualifications.
3. Bookings and Service Transactions
- For Users: Users can browse profiles, review artisans, and book services via the app. Payments are handled directly between users and artisans until in-app payments are implemented.
- For Artisans: Artisans are responsible for responding promptly to booking requests and delivering services as agreed with users.
4. Payments (Future Feature)
Once implemented, in-app payments will be governed by additional terms specific to payment processing, cancellations, and refunds.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- User Cancellations: Users can cancel bookings per the policies outlined on the app. Refunds will follow terms set during the booking.
- Artisan Policies: Artisans should clearly state their own cancellation policies within their profiles.
6. Money Tracker Feature for Artisans
- Income and Expense Tracking: Artisans may log income and expenses to monitor financial transactions effectively.
- Labeling: Each entry can be tagged with relevant labels for categorization, such as 'materials' or 'labor cost.'
7. Reviews and Ratings
- User Feedback: Users may rate and review artisans.
- Response by Artisans: Artisans may respond to reviews professionally. Inappropriate responses may result in penalties.
8. Referral Program
ServiceDey may implement a referral program rewarding users who invite new members. Specific terms will be detailed in the app.
9. Liability and Disclaimers
- Service Quality: ServiceDey does not guarantee the quality of artisan services.
- No Warranty: The app and services are offered 'as-is' and 'as-available.'
- Limitation of Liability: ServiceDey is not responsible for damages arising from services offered by artisans or issues between users and artisans.
10. Indemnification
By using the App, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold ServiceDey harmless against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms and Conditions, misuse of the App, or any actions that lead to a claim or lawsuit against ServiceDey. This clause applies when a user’s actions cause financial or reputational harm to ServiceDey.
11. Third-Party Links and Services
Our App may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by ServiceDey. These links are provided for your convenience, and ServiceDey is not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services. We encourage you to read the terms and policies of each third-party site you visit.
12. Account Termination
Users can terminate or deactivate their account at any time. Upon account termination, some user data may be retained as required by law for purposes such as fraud prevention, problem resolution, and fulfilling legal obligations. 13. Intellectual Property
All materials on ServiceDey, including design, content, and branding, are our intellectual property. Users and artisans agree not to reproduce or distribute any content without permission.
14. Amendments to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Your continued use of the app after updates constitutes acceptance of changes.
