  • B. Artisan-Specific Information

    • Service Details: Artisans must provide descriptions of their offered services, which will be displayed publicly on their profiles.
    • Certifications & Skills: Artisans may supply information on certifications, training, or qualifications, which users can view when considering service providers.
    • Reviews & Ratings: Artisans can be rated and reviewed by users, adding credibility and insight for potential customers.


  • C. Financial Information (Artisans Only)

    • Income and Expense Logs: Artisans using the "Money Tracker" feature can log earnings and expenditures, stored solely on the app.
    • Payment Information (for future features): When payment features are implemented, artisans and users will be prompted to provide necessary payment information to enable in-app transactions.


  • D. Technical Information and Cookies

    • IP Address & Device Information: We collect details related to the devices used to access ServiceDey, including IP address, operating system, browser type, and version.
    • Usage Information: We monitor how users interact with our app, such as pages visited, time spent, and clicks, to enhance the user experience and platform functionality.

    • Notifications: We may send notifications about bookings, updates, or platform features.
    • Customer Support: Your email or phone number may be used to assist with account issues or inquiries.


  • C. Payment and Transactions (Future Implementation)

    • Secure Payment Processing: When in-app payments go live, we will use financial information to process payments between users and artisans securely.


  • D. Money Tracker (Artisan Feature)

    • Income and Expense Tracking: Artisans can use this feature to log financial transactions, acting as a convenient tool for monitoring earnings and expenditures.


  • E. Improvements and Analytics

    • Service Enhancement: Technical and usage data help us enhance the app’s functionality and user experience.
    • User Feedback: Reviews and ratings inform artisans on areas of improvement for quality services.


  • F. Legal and Regulatory Compliance

    • Fraud Prevention and Security: Information is used to detect and prevent fraudulent activity and other security risks.
    • Legal Obligations: Your information may be utilized to meet legal requirements or respond to law enforcement or government requests.

ServiceDey does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information with third parties. However, information may be shared under the following conditions:

  • A. With Service Providers

    • Hosting the app and maintaining servers.
    • Processing transactions (when payment functionality becomes available).

In compliance with the Nigerian Data Protection Act (NDPA) of 2023, ServiceDey takes steps to verify user age to prevent children under the age of consent from using the app without parental or guardian permission. Any data inadvertently collected from underage users will be deleted promptly.
